I am pleased to offer from my private collection this rare antique Faberge WWI era Empire 14k red gold and enamel officer’s award lapel pin with miniature star of the Order of St.Andrew the First Called.
In the ceneter of the star is written “Za veru y vernost” (for faith and fidelity).
The pin has been awarded the officer Colonel Stephan Ivanovich Volkov for Bravery and high military marit.
The pin comes from his family estate together with his original CDV photo. Colonel Volkov emigrated to Bulgaria after the Revolution c 1917 and continued his military carier in the Bulgarian Royal Army.
The pin is signed with the”5 6″ gold hallmark and with “КФ” hallmark .Scratched with the inventory number. Original luxury morocco leather presentation box
The pin is 10.5cm in total. 11.3g h eavy.
