This fine timepiece was commissioned for presentation to a high-ranking dignitary of the Imperial Royal Court during the reign of Tsar Alexander II.

The enamel dial features a portrait of the Emperor Alexander II in full military regalia. Encased in a beautifully engraved solid silver (.875) drum-shaped hunter case with intricate floral and shield motifs, this watch combines both mechanical precision and rich decorative artistry.

The movement is a high-grade 15-jewel lever escapement with gilt  bridges, ruby bearings, and original precision regulator – all in perfect working order. The inside dust cover is richly decorated with medal engravings, including awards from Paris (1878), Geneva, and other international expositions, marking the brand’s excellence.
