The bottle is encased in a masterfully pierced 18k gold-plated floral cage, featuring deeply embossed flower motifs that wrap around a dark inner vial.

The gold casing is strikingly contrasted by rich, deep cobalt blue enamel detailing on both the flared upper shoulder and the footed base. The piece is crowned with a brilliant, multi-faceted clear crystal spherical finial. The threaded cap smoothly unscrews to reveal the original, fully intact gold-tone metal dauber wand used for precise application of fragrance.

During the late 19th and early 20th centuries, heavily ornamented perfume bottles transitioned from simple storage vessels to prominent status symbols on a lady’s vanity table.
