I am pleased to offer from my private collection this rare antique and important historical Bulgarian Kingdom/Imperial Tsar’s Era Diplomatic award pocket watch,specially made to celebrate the National Liberation from Ottoman Yoke c1877-1878 just after the Ruso-Turkish War. The first Bulgarian provisional goverment after the liberation was formed by the Imperial General Alexander Dondukov. Tsar Alexander II The Liberator arranged his nephew Prince Alexander Batenberg to become the first King of the Third Bulgarian Kingdom after the liberation. The watch enamel dial depicting the portrait of King Alexander Batenberg. The watch fancy chased case depicting the Bulgarian coat of arms-the Lion and Liberty statue. The watch is one of a kind with high historical value.
