I am pleased to offer from my private collection this rare antique early 18th Century French Verge Fusee Ormolu gilt bronze seashell shaped case pocket / desk watch c1760’s. The seashell opens to reveal the watch. Fine enamel dial depicting the famous painting “the birth or Venus” after Botticelli.

Amazing fire gilt verge fusee movement with hand pierced balance cock,silver regulator disc,fancy square pillars.

Perfect working order. It comes with a matching key.

Excellent original overal condition. 58mm in diameter.
