I am pleased to offer from my private collection this exceptionally rare museum quality antique Imperial Pre-Revolution Era officer’s award Audemars Freres Grand-Prix solid 14k gold and hand painted enamel full hunter case CHRONOMETER pocket watch in the original luxury presentation box c1900’s. The watch has been supplied to the Imperial Court by Faberge store.
The watch has been awarded by Tsar Nicholas II to the Imperial Cavalry officer Colonel Stanislav Kolchakov .
The watch comes from his family estate.
The watch has an amazing beautiful hand engraved full hunter 14k solid gold case,depicting a hand painted enamel portrait of Tsar Nicholas II.
The cuvette depicts the Imperial cout of arms-the double headed eagle and Grand-Prix award medals. Signed with the Imperial “56” gold hallmark for 14k.
The watch is 74g heavy,solid gold. 51mm in diameter.
Fine fancy two tone silver&gold dial,original hands.
High grade anchor chronometer movement,fully jeweled,Breguet spiral,bymetal compensating balance with gold screws,ruby endstone on balance,special micrometric swan neck precision regulator.
