The cross features a striking turquoise blue enamel design with intricate detailing and a finely engraved border. The reverse is inscribed in Cyrillic with the traditional protective phrase “Спаси и Сохрани” (Save and Protect), expressing a blessing of divine safeguarding. The pendant bears the 56 zolotnik gold hallmark (equivalent to 14k) along with the maker’s initials, confirming its authenticity and origin from a distinguished 19th-century workshop.
