I am pleased to offer from my private collection this  beautiful 18th century verge fusee pocket watch, signed Tarts, London, featuring a finely hand-engraved and pierced balance cock and a traditional English verge escapement movement. The watch is housed in a stunning repoussé silver pair case, decorated with an intricate pastoral hunting scene in high relief, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship of the period. The watch measures 50mm in diameter and is a fine example of Georgian-era horology. Currently, the watch is not in working condition and is being sold as is, making it an excellent project for restoration.
