This pendant features a deeply expressive Medusa head sculpted in deep cobalt blue enamel or pâte de verre, framed by entwined serpents, rendered in gilt silver and green enamel. The snakes, a classical symbol associated with Medusa, are executed with remarkable fluidity and movement—true to Lalique’s organic Art Nouveau aesthetic.
