I am pleased to offer from my private collection this one of a kind and important historical antique WWI Great War era Imperial Faberge Morocco Leather & Gunmetal award Cigar Case c1914-1915. The case has been awarded to Major-General Prince Konstantin “Kote” Abkhazi(1867-1923). He was a Georgian Major General and politician.During the Imperial rule, he was a major general in the tsar’s army. The case comes from General’s family estate.
The case is decorated with gold plated ornaments ,Imperial coat of arms-the double headed eagle,with the Saint Anna Bravery Order 4th Class with red enamel and a tag written in Cyrillic “War 1914-1915, K.Faberge”.

Fabergé produced copper and gunmetal articles such as cruets, plates, mugs and snuffboxes. The workshops also made syringes and equipment, and parts for the military, including grenades.
