I am pleased to offer from my private collection this amazing antique MUSEUM quality Imperial Tsar’s Era Faberge Empire style gilt(18k gold plated) silver and Cobalt blue crystal caviar holder(or salt&pepper holder) ,circa late 1890’s. It has been in service in Tsarskoe Selo residence palace. This unique masterpiece has been made by Faberge’s head workmaster Julius Rappoport.
Hallmarked with the Imperial high purity 88 silver hallmark ,with Faberge’s St.Peters branch hallmark; with the Imperial warant eagle and with Julius Rappoport initials I.P. in Cyrillic. Excellent condition. 19cm high,15cm width.
The cobalt blue crystals are perfect-no cracks or chips.
