I am pleased to offer from my private collection this Antique Russo-Turkish War era Imperial Army Doctor’s award silver pocket watch c1877-1878.
The watch has a fine enamel dial depicting a portrait of Tsar Alexander II,with original fancy hands. The watch has been awarded to the Imperial army doctor Vitaly Afanassyev,who won a medal for the Battle of Shipka in Bulgaria c1878. The watch comes from his family estate.
The watch has a fine silver case depicting the Imperial Red Cross miniature medicine award badge. Perfect working order. High grade movement. The watch comes with a matching key. 41mm
