I am pleased to offer from my private collection this one of a kind and important historical antique Imperial Tsar’s era award cigarette case c1900’s,made by the famous master jeweller Ivan Khlebnikov. Khlebnikov was the official supplier to the Imperial Court (together with Faberge.) The case was made specially for Grand Duke Sergei Mikhailovich,and decorated with his personal monogram SM in Cyrillic. The case comes with the original luxury presentation morocco leather box,signed in Cyrillic “Factory of Ivan Khlebnikov” and decorated with the Imperial coat of arms. The silver case is decorated with the enamelled miniatures of the Imperial Orders for Bravery including the Order of Saint George,Order of Saint Anna,Order of Saint Stanislaus with swords,Order of Saint Vladimir with swords and Order of Saint Andrew The First Called.
The case is 9.7cm x 7cm. Very massive-138 grams heavy. Excellent condition.
Hallmarked with “Khlebnikov” hallmark,with the Imperial warant seal ,with the workmaster’s hallmark and with “84” silver hallmark.
The case comes with an appraisal certificate of authenticty for $20,000.00
