I am pleased to offer from my private collection this extremely rare and probably one of a kind antique WWI German Officer’s Award Zenith Pocket Watch c1914 with Agate semi-precious Hard Stone Case,depicting a gold plated silver German medal. The medal shows Duke Albrecht of Württemberg on its front. Since King Wilhelm II had no sons of his own, Albrecht took the position of heir to the throne. He pursued a military career and was considered one of the most capable military leaders in Germany. The back depicts a war scene in which German soldiers storm forward. The inscription describes the war as a “CAMPAIGN AGAINST FRANCE – RUS – ENGLAND, ETC
