Faberge Antique 18k Gold Cufflinks Set Awarded by Tsar Nicholas II to Captain

I am pleased to offer from my collection this magnificent and rare pair of antique navy officer’s cufflinks crafted by the esteemed Fabergé workshops during the imperial Tsar’s era, circa 1910. These exceptional cufflinks are crafted from solid 18k gold in form of a navy ship’s wheel and navy anchor. The set has a interesting history-it has been awarded to the Imperial Yacht Standart’s crew officer Nikolai Pavlovich Sablin(right on the photo). From 1906 till 1914 he served on the yacht ,eventually becoming her commander. In 1914 Sablin became the naval Aide de camp to Tsar Nicholas II and later in World War I commanded a battalion of the Imperial Guard.
