This piece was specially produced for the Romanov Tercentenary by the House of Fabergé and is preserved in its original signed Fabergé presentation box.

The center of the plate features a high-relief rouble coin, depicting:
- Tsar Nicholas II, final reigning emperor of the Romanov dynasty
- Vladimir II Monomakh, the dynasty’s founding figure
