I am pleased to offer from my private collection this exeptionaly rare and historically important antique WWI Graet War Era Imperial Pavel Buhre award oversize railroad pocket watch c1914.
This was a personal present from Tsar Nicholas II to the military railroad commander officer Afanasy Vorontzov for excellent service. The watch comes from Vorontzov’s family estate.

Pavel Buhre was the official watch master to the Imperial Court.
The watch is really impressive oversize-57mm in diameter.

The rear case engraved in Cyrillic translated as : ” Military Railroads Caucasian Army”.
The inner case is engraved in Cyrillic :”Pavel Buhre-supplier to the Court of His Majesty”
High grade movement,fully jeweled,Breguet spiral,bymetal compensating balance with gold screws,ruby endstone on balance.
