This is a pocket watch with significant historical value! It has been awarded to the German pilot ace Werner Voss for bravery and it comes from his family estate sale.

On the watch rear case is applied the German merit order  Pour le merite with blue enamel.(The Pour le Mérite, known informally as the Blue Max  was the Kingdom of Prussia’s highest order of merit. It was awarded strictly as a recognition of extraordinary personal achievement)

The watch is A1 GRADE top qualty lever chronometer with MAXIMUM CHATONS-one of the most accuarate mechanical time keeper ever created!

This legendary 3/4 plate movement invented by A.Lange&Sohne for better stability of the watches. The movement is 23kt gold plated,all hand finished,blue steel screws(untouched by human hand!),precision swan neck micrometric regulator,blue Breguet hairspring,the winding wheels are polished in a special spiral decoration,the balance wheel is fited with gold compensateing weights.Maximum 4 Chatons (the Rubies are mounted in solid gold screwed settings).The movement is numbered and signed.
