I am pleased to offer from my private collection this extraordinary and rare antique 17th Century Verge Fusee Pocket Watch Movement by Willem Bramer,Zwolle,Holland c1690’s. Willem Bramer,Zwolle was a famous Dutch watch maker active in Zwolle town c 1660-1734. This is a fine example of his art. A fine movement from the dawn of watch making. This is a great project to accomplish . The movement sale as is-it may needs some watch master attention-a new dial, two under dial wheels and hands. The balance staff which is the most iportant part is perfect and the balance rotates freely-see the video. Perfect chain. This is one of the most beautiful verge fusee movements I have ever seen-every part is hand engraved, hand pierced and hand finished. Amazing old stile huge two footed balance cock.Fancy pillars, fancy side decorations, worm tension regulator. 39mm
SALE AS IS -as a project ,not as a complete pocket watch.
