I am pleased to offer from my private collection this rare antique early 19th Century French Occultist’s Verge Fusee gilt bronze & enamel Memento Mori Skull shaped case pocket watch c1730’s made by Henry LeBeuf.
Amazing entirely hand engraved and pierced fire gilt verge fusee movement-a real masterpiece! Each part is hand finished,fancy square pillars,side decorations,blue steel screws,ruby endstone on balance,Worm shaped tension regulator,silver regulator disc.
Perfect working order(do not expect a quartz accuracy from 300 years old watch) It comes with a matching key.
Excellent original overal condition. The case is gilt bronze,made in the form of a skull.Decorated with enamel and Labradorite precious stones in the eyes. The back in engraved “Memento Mori” Original hands. All the parts original.
Fine enamel dial.
