I am pleased to offer from my private collection this rare antique French 18th Century Verge Fusee 18k solid gold & enamel presentation  Verge Fusee pocket watch made by the French watch master Piere Mayet,a Paris. The watch was specially made for French Royal Court c1780’s. The watch has an 18k solid gold case,depicting an enamel portrait of Empress Marie Antoinette. The watch is 41mm in diameter.54g heavy.
Original high domed crystal. Original Breguet hands. Fine enamel dial with Roman numbers The watch has an amazing fire gilt hand engraved verge fusee full plate movement, hand pierced balance cock,silver regulator disc.
Excellent original overal condition. It comes with a matching winding key. It comes with an APPRAISAL CERTIFICATE FOR $9000
