A rare and elegant antique Imperial Fabergé Easter Egg pendant, dating to circa 1890, finely crafted in 18K vermeil gilt silver and mounted with a hand-carved black agate precious hard stone egg.

The agate egg is beautifully decorated with a series of old rose-cut diamonds, each mounted in solid gold settings, applied directly into the stone in the traditional late 19th-century manner. The diamonds display characteristic antique cutting with natural inclusions and soft brilliance, entirely consistent with the period.
