I am pleased to offer from my private collection this one of a kind antique Imperial Faberge award heavy silver and enamel cigarette/tobacco case c1880’s. The case comes with the original luxury presentation box signed Faberge and decorated with the Imperial double headed eagle coat of arms.
The case was made by the Faberge’s workmaster Andrei Gurianov . Hallmarked with his initials hallmark AГ;with Faberge hallmark in Cyrilic “K.Faberge” and with 88 high purity silver hallmark with St.Peters coat of arms.
The case has a separate hole place for a silk wick.When you light a match stick-you light the end of the silk wick and this way you use the entire case as a lighter. The wick burns very slow and is wind proof.
