I am pleased to offer from my private collection this culturally important antique  pocket watch was crafted for the Ottoman market, featuring a rare and finely detailed hand-painted enamel dial of the Sultan Ahmed Mosque (Blue Mosque) in Istanbul. A symbol of imperial grandeur and Islamic architecture, this piece is both a tribute to Ottoman heritage and a stunning horological artifact. Key Features: • Dial: Vividly  enamel dial depicting the Blue Mosque and its towering minarets, framed by Ottoman-style Arabic numerals and black chapter ring. Elegant filigree gold-tone hands and sub-seconds dial at 6 o’clock complete the artistic design. • Case: Intricately engraved silver case with a raised, gilt-highlighted Ottoman coat of arms on the reverse, surrounded by lush foliage and scrollwork. Finished with a rich gold-filled trim around the bezel and edge. • Size: 47mm diameter (excluding crown). • Movement: Swiss-made, stem-wind Remontoir Cylindre escapement, 10 Rubis (jewels), visible on the inner dust cover. The bridge-style movement is engraved and shows high-quality construction typical of Swiss watches made for the Eastern market. • Case Marks: Stamped 0.800 silver, with Swiss crescent-crown and maker hallmarks. Case numbered 420459, and marked Galonne, indicating the gold-filled detailing. • Crown and Bow: Ornate onion-style crown with matching bow, original to the case. Era: Early 20th century, likely circa 1910–1920, at the twilight of the Ottoman Empire  Condition: Excellent overall preservation for a century-old piece. Dial is crisp and vibrant, hands are intact, movement winds smoothly. Case shows gentle patina and some minor edge wear. This exquisite timepiece is a true cultural artifact, ideal for collectors of Islamic art, Ottoman history, or enamel-dial watches.
