I am pleased to offer from my private collection this exeptionaly rare and historically important full hunter pocket watch crafted by esteemed horologist Pavel Buhre, official supplier to the Imperial Romanov Court. This military-style timepiece features a robust full hunter silver case adorned with a finely etched double-headed eagle coat of arms. The watch comes with the original signed Pavel Buhre luxury presentation box. This piece was made specially for the Romanov Tercentenary celebrations c1913. The watch has been awarded by Tsar NIcholas II to the Cavalry Officer Captain Stephan Gonchakov. The watch comes from his family estate together with a gilt silver Order for Zeal in original box and the original CDV photo of captian Gonchakov in his uniform. Housed in an oversized 52mm silver case, this watch exemplifies both imperial grandeur and military utility, making it a standout collector’s piece of the early 20th century.
The case is engraved “Pavel Buhre-supplier to the Court of His Majesty”. Fine enamel dial with original hands. Also signed. High grade movement-perfect working order.
