I am pleased to offer from my private collection this  remarkable and historically significant antique solid silver chain driven fusee pocket watch, dating to circa 1850’s, featuring a vivid  enamel portrait of Albert Pike — the influential Sovereign Grand Commander of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry in the United States. This watch is believed to have been an award from a British Master Mason to a U.S. Brother Mason, symbolizing international Masonic fraternity during the mid-19th century. A truly exceptional collector’s piece both for horologists and Masonic historians. Key Features: • Movement: Traditional English lever fusee chain driven escapement with elaborately engraved balance cock depicting a  head. Serial number 0926. • Dial: Intricately engraved silver floral dial with Roman numerals and sub-seconds register. Blued steel hands. • Case: Heavy solid sterling silver, weighing 95g and measuring 50mm in diameter. Bears full Birmingham silver hallmarks. • Back Panel: Stunning enamel portrait of Albert Pike, shown in full Masonic regalia. The level of detail is exceptional, clearly meant to honor the sitter. • Provenance: Includes original printed label of Wm. Anderson, Watchmaker & Jeweller, 31 Market Square, Stonehaven, indicating a high-quality British retail origin. • Glass: Front cover with original glass. All covers open and close properly.
