I am pleased to offer from my private collection this rare antique 19th Century French Verge Fusee Oignon Ball shaped pocket watch specially made for the French Royal Court of Emperor Napoleon I c1810. The watch has a hand carved natural Agate hard stone case,depicting Napoleon’s head.
The watch has a high grade verge fusee movement-perfect working order(do not expect a quartz accuracy from 200 years old watch)
The watch has a fine enamel dial depicting the famous painting “Napoleon Crossing the Alps” after Jacques-Louis David.
The watch is 53 mm in diameter. 42mm thick
The watch comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY.
