The ring has been awarded to an officer from the Imperial 31th Fighter avio Detachment regiment. The skull head was the official symbol of 31th Avio Regiment. The ring is engraved “31 A.O. 4th Nov. 1916”. The ring has been awarded only one month before the Communist Revolution to begin in March 1917 and the fall of Tsar.
