I am pleased to offer from my private collection this Antique Ruso-Turkish War era Imperial Army Doctor’s award gilt silver&enamel pocket watch&matching chain fob c1877-1878.
The watch has a fine enamel dial with gold dots and original Louis XIV style gold fancy hands. The watch has been awarded to the Imperial army doctor Volodya Sumyn,who won a medal for the Battle of Shipka in Bulgaria c1878. The watch comes from his family estate.
The watch has a fine gilt silver case with depicting the Imperial enamelled Red Cross miniature medicine award badge. Perfect working order. High grade movement. The watch comes with a matching key. 45mm
