Offered for acquisition is an original c.1914 Fabergé 14k solid gold and enamel presentation award ring, exquisitely set with approximately 1.00ct of old mine cut diamonds and 2.00ct of natural rubies.
Crafted circa 1914, this masterpiece was a direct imperial presentation piece, personally awarded by Tsar Nicholas II to his cousin, Grand Duke Andrei. Such bespoke commissions by the imperial court were strictly reserved for the highest echelons of nobility and key historical figures. At the center of the ring’s face lies the intricately applied personal monogram of Grand Duke Andrei, set against a contrasting white enameled reserve, serving as a testament to its royal heritage.
The Presentation Egg Box
The ring is accompanied by its custom-fitted presentation box, cast in bronze and heavily plated in 18k gold in the form of an Imperial Easter egg.
