Rare Antique 18k Gold Plated Jeweled Perfume Bottle | Paste Stones & Rose Plaque

Presenting a highly ornate, antique jeweled perfume bottle, a remarkable surviving example of early vanity table elegance. Standing at 8cm tall, this miniature flask features a beautiful amber-peach toned, heavily textured glass body encased in an elaborate 18-karat gold-plated filigree framework.

The front of the bottle is a masterpiece of decorative art, heavily encrusted with a striking arrangement of faceted pink and iridescent aurora borealis paste stones, flanked by smooth, cabochon-style stones. The centerpiece is a romantic, oval porcelain-style plaque depicting a finely detailed, hand-painted pink rose. The bottle is crowned with a beautifully embossed, dome-shaped gold-plated cap that unscrews to reveal its original, intact glass dauber.
