I am pleased to offer from my private collection this exeptionaly rare and historically important antique WWI Graet War Era Imperial Pavel Buhre gold plated&enamel award pocket watch c1914.
This was a personal present from Tsar Nicholas II to Colonel Mikhail Vasilievich Ovodov for bravery during the war. The watch comes from Ovodov’s family estate.
The watch has a beautiful gold plated case depicting the Imperial Orders of Saint George and Saint Anna.
A pocket watch personally awarded by a Roayl memeber was considered for the highest honor…
Pavel Buhre was the official watch master to the Imperial Court.
The watch is really impressive-52mm in diameter.
